• Explore Liberatory Design Mindsets and Modes.

• Identify a specific equity challenge within your international school context that could benefit from the application of a liberatory design.

• Understand how mindsets and modes can guide your problem-solving and decision-making processes.

Workshop outcome: 

This workshop aims to equip coaches and leaders with a toolbox of skills and strategies to establish and maintain positive coaching relationships with teachers.

I designed this presentation and my colleague co-facilitated with me at the Annual Learning Forward Conference in Washington, DC  in December 2023. 

Learning outcomes:

• Understand the methodology employed by the Education Development Institute for formulating a needs assessment in professional learning;

• Engage in a self-evaluation utilizing the Innovation Configuration Map for the Implementation standard within the Standards for Professional Learning; and

• Review the Education Development Institute’s present operational status of the Implementation Standard.

My colleague designed this session and co-facilitated at the Annual Learning Forward Conference in Washington, DC  in December 2023.

• Explore the process the team used for developing the PL evaluation tools. 

• See how the team adapted and contextualized the tools to evaluate professional learning impact.
